POSITION SUMMARY
The Patient Financial Counselor serves as a dedicated advocate for patients at Central Peninsula Hospital, helping them navigate the financial aspects of their healthcare with empathy, clarity, and professionalism. Under the direction of the Billing Supervisor, this position is responsible for self-pay collection activities in accordance with the hospital's credit and collections policies. With a strong focus on patient-centered service, this role focuses on assisting patients and guarantors in understanding their financial responsibilities, resolving billing concerns, reducing financial stress, and exploring available payment options and financial assistance programs to ensure a positive and supportive billing experience.
REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma/GED Minimum of two years of Financial Services/Customer billing experience Minimum of one year of Customer Care/Support experience Two years of Billing - Medical Self-Pay/Collections experience, preferred At CPH, we value our employees and offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth.
