Hybrid up to 4 Days Onsite Full time Universal City California United States Consulting Finance Transformation About This Role We are seeking an experienced Finance Transformation resource to support a major finance transformation initiative. This role will be critical in ensuring high-quality execution across data validation, end-to-end testing, and go-live readiness. The ideal candidate brings a strong functional controllership foundation, deep understanding of finance processes and controls, and strong SAP expertise (preferably

SAP S/4 HANA

). This is a hands-on role that will partner closely with Finance stakeholders, Transformation leads, IT/Systems teams, and business users to ensure solution design is validated, testing is comprehensive, and end users are prepared for successful adoption. Ability to work onsite 3-4 days per week in San Fernando Valley, CA 91608

Pay Rate Range:

$90/hr-$110/hr What You Will Work On Lead and execute financial data validation activities (e.g., master data, opening balances, transactional data) to ensure accuracy and completeness. Partner with cross-functional teams to define reconciliation approach, validation criteria, and sign-off requirements. Support cutover planning activities related to finance readiness (as applicable), including checkpoint reviews and issue resolution. Coordinate and support end-to-end testing across Finance scenarios, including defect triage, prioritization, and resolution tracking. Develop/validate test scripts, ensure test evidence is captured appropriately, and confirm outcomes align to business requirements. Drive follow-ups with stakeholders to remove blockers and keep testing on track. Provide clear and concise status updates, risks/issues, and mitigation plans to Transformation leadership. Build strong partnerships with Finance leadership, process owners, and system teams. Contribute to decision-making through structured analysis and practical recommendations. What You Will Bring 8+ years of progressive finance experience, including significant controllership/accounting responsibility. Experience in media and entertainment is strongly preferred. Proven experience leading or supporting finance transformation programs (ERP implementations, process redesign, shared services, etc.). Strong SAP experience;

SAP S/4HANA

preferred (exposure to testing cycles and finance configuration impacts highly valued). Hands-on experience with Data validation / reconciliations; SIT/UAT testing execution; Issue/defect management and cross-functional coordination Strong communication skills—able to translate between Finance stakeholders and technical teams. Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
