Job Description
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented accounting/finance consultant. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting and insights that inform key business decisions. You will work at the intersection of finance, data, and operations—partnering closely with FP&A, accounting, and business stakeholders to analyze cost drivers, investigate variances, and enhance reporting capabilities across a complex and evolving environment. W2 hourly pay rate: $75-85/hr
DOE Duration:
6+ months + Perform recurring reporting and flux analysis across operating expenses, technical infrastructure costs, lease expenses, payroll, commissions, and other non-revenue cost categories + Support BD+4 reporting deliverables and close-related reporting activities + Investigate reporting variances and reconcile underlying data issues + Utilize SQL and reporting tools to troubleshoot data discrepancies and support ad hoc analysis + Partner with FP&A and business stakeholders to understand cost drivers and validate explanations for variances + Support reporting tied to cost allocations, Cost of Sales (COS), and infrastructure-related expenses + Participate in recurring flux review meetings and help develop reporting insights and recommendations + Identify opportunities for process improvements and reporting efficiencies + Financial reporting, management reporting, controllership, or operational accounting experience + Strong P&L flux analysis experience + Familiarity with cost allocations, OPEX reporting, or infrastructure-related cost analysis + Working knowledge of ASC 842 and ASC 606 concepts as they relate to financial reporting and cost analysis + SQL proficiency for data investigation and ad hoc reporting + Experience working with large datasets and complex reporting environments + SAP experience is helpful but not required + SEC reporting exposure is a plus but not required + An inspirational place for you to do your best work, be engaged in meaningful ways, and continually develop the skills, competencies and qualities that set our team apart. + Compensation commensurate with your qualifications, experience, and other factors including geographic location, market and operational factors. + Total Rewards include: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, 401(k) Savings Plan, Employee Stock Purchase Plan, Professional Development Program, Paid Time Off and Paid Sick Time (in geographies where legally required).
