No Job Description We're looking for Patient Financial Counselors who are passionate about helping patients navigate healthcare financial processes with compassion, professionalism, and clarity. In this role, you'll assist uninsured or underinsured patients with financial arrangements, payment options, and billing questions while helping connect individuals and families to programs that support their medical needs. You'll conduct financial assessments, explain available assistance programs, and provide supportive guidance during sensitive financial conversations. Key Responsibilities Assist uninsured and underinsured patients with financial arrangements and payment options Answer patient billing questions with professionalism and sensitivity Conduct financial counseling processes for qualifying patients Meet with patients or family members to discuss available financial assistance programs Initiate financial assessment applications to determine eligibility for assistance programs Meet with patients or family members at the time of service when possible Support implementation and ongoing understanding of updated Financial Assistance policies Maintain accurate documentation and confidentiality of patient information Perform other duties as assigned Collaborative Teamwork This role involves working closely with patients, families, and internal departments to support positive financial experiences and contribute to a supportive and collaborative work environment.
