A Private Advisor team, located in our Stamford, CT office, is seeking a motivated individual to join our growing team as a Client Associate. The Client Associate will work, in office, with team members and will interact directly with high-net-worth clients. The ideal candidate will be the face of the practice and is thorough in their work, operates with a high attention to detail, has strong communication, organization, time management and problem-solving skills, and is driven to develop and grow in their role.Responsibilities:
Handle operational & administrative aspects of client accounts including but not limited to; account opening, asset transfer, asset movement, completing investment subscription documents, reporting on account holdings, investment performance, posting daily cash activity, and entering trade instructions Liaise with other teams such as Operations, Technology, as well as external investment sponsors, to review daily processing of data in the relevant relationship accounts thus ensuring that reporting deliverables are accurate, complete, and timely Coordinate with other team members to proof reports and deliver them, with execution instructions, in time for client meetings Perform financial research requests using third-party data and software, and internal systems Partner with team members and provide updates on the status of client relationships and related tasks; escalate client issues as appropriate Field general questions from clients, manage client expectations by properly balancing needs and resources with deliverables, and escalate new client requests to ensure proper scope of services is addressed Maintain a sense of 'ownership and accountability' for the clients the CA services; communicate clearly, maintain careful records, have attention to detail and follow compliance policies and procedures Administrative support to the team, including but not limited to; handling inbound & outbound calls, prepare client correspondence, obtain necessary management approvals, and transmit, client online access needs, ensuring client files are orderly and compliantQualifications:
3-5 years prior client service experience within financial industry, or equivalent experience, preferred Series 7 & 66 preferred and if not, willingness to obtain BA/BS degree Experience with NFS/Wealthscape, eMoney, Envestnet & Tamarac Reporting, is a particular plus Experience in actual account servicing roles, including on-boarding of new accounts, is a particular plus Prior experience with CRM management, preferredSkills:
Basic understanding of investments and/or portfolio reporting and related terminology Excellent client facing, interpersonal, organizational, and client service skills Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and organize workflow Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters Ability to work in a fast-paced, high intensity work environment as well as manage multiple tasks effectively with frequent interruptions Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to express ideas clearly and concisely Strong Microsoft Office skills includingExcel & PowerPoint Compensation Range:
The anticipated base salary range for this role is $45,000 to $110,000. Base salary for the role will depend on several factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience, and may fall outside of the range shown. In addition, this role may be eligible for other variable compensation programs.
