About the role As a Wealth Management & Financial Planning Intern, you will play a key role in supporting high-net-worth client relationships and prospecting efforts. This internship offers hands-on experience in researching advanced financial planning topics-including estate planning, tax strategies, retirement planning, and charitable giving. You'll contribute to process improvement initiatives and assist in implementing solutions that enhance team efficiency. Additionally, you'll collaborate on enterprise-level projects, providing subject matter expertise and gaining exposure to strategic initiatives across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the relationship and prospecting efforts for high-net-worth investment accounts.
  • Conduct research on financial planning topics such as estate planning, tax strategies, retirement planning, business succession and protection planning, and charitable giving.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and assisting with implementation.
  • Work across departments to understand what other areas do and build on personal development.
  • Support the team in providing subject matter expertise for enterprise-level project initiatives.
Application Timeline:
We know waiting can be difficult, so we want to set expectations upfront. Our internship recruiting process takes place over several months. Applications open in mid-September and are reviewed as they are received. HR interviews are expected to begin in mid-October, followed by interviews with hiring leaders. Depending on the role and applicant volume, hiring decisions and offers may be made anytime from October through January. Do you have what we're looking for?
Required Skills:
Basic understanding of financial concepts such as investment products, insurance, and market trends. Strong research and analytical skills, with attention to detail when working with product data and documentation. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to collaborate with team members and present findings clearly. Organized and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
Qualifications:
Open to all majors with a preference towards Finance, Accounting, Economics, and Business Administration majors. Must be able to work full-time hours from late May 2027 to early August 2027. The internship may be extended part-time through fall 2027 and spring 2028. Graduation date of August 2027 or beyond. Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint. Why work with us?
