With opportunities in Peoria, Princeville, Goodfield, Moline, and Toulon, the service territory covers portions of the Tri-County area and beyond. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven producer who has the drive to grow their book of business as large as they want without the financial burden or employee management responsibilities that come with running an independent practice. The main role of the Financial Advisor is to create lasting relationships with clients by helping them make intelligent financial decisions based on their unique situations and goals. He/she will focus on creating meaningful investment solutions for clients, not pushing any particular products.
Responsibilities Include:
Build and nurture strong client relationships with current and potential clients Prospecting both inside the institution to current bank customers and outside the institution to bring in new relationships Build and maintain a solid fee-based and commission book of clients using all available resources, including the bank's customer base, the advisor's own network of connections, and proactive prospecting in the community Effectively communicate with people with a wide range of backgrounds and experience levels Maintain compliance with FINRA, SEC, and internal regulatory standards Making regular progress toward your goals by consistently tracking, reviewing, and advancing your production and activity objectives Desired Skills & Experience:
Proven relationship-building and communication skills Coachable, organized, and highly motivated self-starter Strong ethical standards and team-oriented mindset Resilience, adaptability, and a growth-oriented attitude Comfortable with technology platforms that enhance the client experience Bachelor's or Master's degree (preferred) FINRA Series 7 & 66 licenses (preferred or willingness to obtain is required) Life, Health, Disability, and Long-Term Care Insurance licenses (preferred or willingness to obtain is required) CFP®, ChFC®, or other designations are a plus At least 2 years of financial services or 5+ years of successful sales experience (preferred) Midwestern Securities Trading Company, LLC is an independent broker-dealer and Registered Investment Advisory firm based in East Peoria, IL.
