POSITION SUMMARY
Sell investment products including but not limited to stocks, bonds, mutual funds, fixed, indexed, immediate and variable annuities, life insurance, LTC insurance, UITs, ETFs, and REITs.OBJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE
Sell investment products and/or services based on customer needs and agreed upon production goals. Utilize sales training skills to provide outstanding customer service. Generate and maintain a marketing program within designated market area.RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide regular reviews of existing clients' portfolios. Complete GPM Plan for all managed accounts. Attend Office meetings in designated market area to provide training to staff. Cross sell F&M Bank products and services. Complete continuing education to maintain securities and insurance licenses. Complete and satisfactorily pass tests for bank policy and regulations that apply to position.Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; and at least four years Investment Management and/or sales experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Ability to utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Ability to utilize software tools provided by broker-dealer. Ability to use internet and websites to provide investment analysis.LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, prospectus, and investment fact sheets. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages, area, and rate of return. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
