Job Description

Staff Financial Planner Galecki Financial Management has achieved a national reputation in the Fee-Only Wealth Management field. We consider our team a family. All team members need to be organized, detail-oriented and be able to multi-task. We value collaboration and look for individuals with positive attitudes that can work with a variety of personality types. All positions require a professional appearance, poise, and maturity. Every position in our firm is a vital part of creating the best possible Client Experience. A Staff Financial Planner will work approximately 40 hours per week but may be required to work outside of normal business hours as this position has a direct involvement in client meetings. This position will work directly with a Senior Financial Planner at our firm helping to maintain and manage relationships. Duties and Responsibilities Daily interaction with clients via meetings, email, and telephone. Gather client documents and input financial information into our financial planning software.
Prepare client meeting reports:
agendas, financial statements, and any other reports necessary. Run analyses for retirement cash flow projections and insurance needs. Summarize insurance policies and estate planning documents. Compile tax information for current-year projections. Complete post meeting follow-up and research. Provide support for special projects. Qualifications College degree preferred. Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365 products. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Organized, detail-oriented, ability to multi-task. Must be a team player, collaborative, and able to work well with others. Desire and ability to work successfully in a small office environment.
