We are growing rapidly and are looking for an advisor who is equally passionate about serving clients and building relationships in the community. Position Summary The Financial Advisor serves as a primary advisor for existing client relationships while actively pursuing opportunities to grow the firm through referrals, networking, community involvement, and prospect meetings. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven advisor who enjoys both delivering financial planning advice and building a book of business. The successful candidate will inherit a portion of existing client relationships while being expected to contribute meaningfully to firm growth. Responsibilities Client Relationship Management Serve as lead advisor for assigned client households Conduct annual and semi-annual review meetings Deliver retirement, investment, tax, and estate planning recommendations Maintain proactive communication with clients Coordinate with support staff to ensure exceptional service Identify planning opportunities and deepen client relationships Participate in client events and educational workshops Business Development Generate new client opportunities through networking and referrals Build relationships with centers of influence (CPAs, attorneys, business owners) Attend community and professional networking events Conduct prospect discovery meetings Participate in educational seminars and workshops Follow a structured business development process Contribute to marketing and content initiatives Team Collaboration Work closely with advisors and support staff Maintain CRM documentation and follow-up tasks Participate in weekly team meetings Contribute ideas to improve client experience and firm growth QualificationsRequired CFP® or Series 65 license (or ability to obtain quickly/actively pursuing) 2+ years of financial planning or wealth management experience Strong interpersonal and communication skills Proven ability to build trust and maintain client relationships Organized and detail-oriented Preferred Existing network within Greater Lafayette or surrounding communities Experience working with retirees, business owners, or high-net-worth families Experience generating new business Familiarity with financial planning software and CRM systems
Pay:
$40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
