How you will contribute You are a rising strategy professional with a strong foundation in consulting and a growing passion for solving complex challenges in Financial Services. This is a hybrid, in-office role based in New York or Boston. The work
- Support day-to-day delivery of consulting projects - driving workstreams, managing analysis, and helping structure insights.
- Build frameworks, conduct market and financial research, and synthesize data to support problem-solving.
- Collaborate with team members to develop high-quality deliverables that communicate clear recommendations to clients.
- Engage with clients to understand priorities and contribute to discussions, workshops, and presentations
- Maintain project pacing and quality by managing timelines and escalating issues as needed.
- Stay current on Financial Services trends, including fintech, digital innovation, and evolving customer behaviors.
- Contribute to internal initiatives, capability development, and knowledge sharing across the practice.
- Learn and grow through mentorship, feedback, and hands-on experience across varied client engagements. Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in a consulting, corporate strategy, or analyst role (professional services experience strongly preferred).
- Exposure to the Financial Services sector, ideally within one or more of the following areas:
- Asset & Wealth Management
- Banking
- Financial Markets Infrastructure (e.g., exchanges, custodians, data providers)
- Experience or interest in one or more of the following:
- Growth strategy or business model design
- Operational improvement and cost analysis
- M&A support or market research
- Data and technology-enabled transformation
- Digital, AI, or fintech disruption
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to tackling ambiguity.
- Financial modeling experience, including building or working with Excel-based models to support market sizing, profitability analysis, valuation, or business case development.
- Clear communication skills - both written and verbal - and comfort working in fast-paced, client-facing environments.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with data visualization tools or modeling is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degrees welcome but not required.
