Type:

full-time Chesapeake Search Partners has partnered with a growing real estate owner and operator to identify an Asset Management Analyst. This position offers the opportunity to support the performance and strategic management of a national portfolio of residential real estate assets. The ideal candidate will work closely with asset management, operations, accounting, and investment teams to analyze performance, support business planning initiatives, and contribute to the overall growth and value creation of the portfolio. Responsibilities Support asset-level business planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance analysis. Prepare recurring reporting packages, performance dashboards, and variance analyses for internal stakeholders. Assist in evaluating operational and financial performance against budget and investment objectives. Maintain and update financial models used for forecasting, capital planning, and strategic decision-making. Analyze key property and portfolio performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve financial results. Partner with operations, accounting, and investment teams to ensure accurate reporting and data integrity. Support capital improvement initiatives by tracking project performance, budgets, and expected returns. Assist with acquisition due diligence, asset onboarding, and integration activities. Prepare presentations and supporting materials for leadership discussions and strategic planning efforts. Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support portfolio management initiatives. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, Economics, Business, or a related field. 1-4 years of experience in financial analysis, asset management, real estate, investments, corporate finance, or a related discipline. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and problem-solving abilities. Experience working with budgets, forecasts, financial reporting, and performance analysis. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools. Ability to interpret financial statements and operational performance data. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Real estate industry experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong analytical backgrounds and an interest in real estate are encouraged to apply
