What It Takes to Be a Successful Associate Financial Advisor We are seeking a driven, high-capacity, and detail-oriented Associate Financial Advisor to join our team in California, MD. This is a critical support role designed for a professional who thrives behind the scenes, providing the "heavy lift" necessary to facilitate client lists for our lead advisors. We are looking for someone who: Is genuine in assistance to others & passionate for helping people achieve financial independence and take care of complicated life events Takes total ownership of assigned projects and tasks from start to finish, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks Values teamwork and is always willing to "step up and in," including during situations that require long days or early mornings to meet firm needs Possesses exceptional attention to detail , specifically when reviewing complex financial documents, plans, and account information Does not shy away from a high-volume workload , comfortably managing the follow-up actions for 16 to 40 clients per day. Daily Basis, Our Associate Financial Advisor Will:
Act as the "Action Associate" for all tasks originating from the day's client meetings, ensuring all follow-up items are handled quickly and efficiently. Execute administrative work related to retirements and healthcare, including facilitating 401(k) rollovers and other complex transitions Manage workflows and identify discrepancies within firm systems, ensuring all data entry is accurate and compliant; assign and coordinate workflow to appropriate team members Conduct follow-up calls to clients to address specific action items or gather necessary information Input client information , notes, and updates into the CRM system accurately and promptly Perform deep-dive research on financial products, trends and strategies to support advisor recommendations Support the preparation of comprehensive financial plans, portfolio reviews, and client presentation materials for advisors Prep the analysis of client financial data to help identify needs, opportunities, and strategies aligned with their goals and provide notes to advisors Respond to client inquiries or direct all incoming client correspondence to the appropriate team member or as directed by advisors in a timely manner Support internal compliance and record-keeping in alignment with SEC regulations and IWB policies Utilize appropriate tech platforms proficiently (CRM, Outlook, financial planning tools, custodial platforms, efficiency platforms etc.) Continuously grow knowledge of financial planning, investment management, and client service best practices Set the standard for professionalism by conducting yourself with integrity, positivity, and a commitment to excellence in every interaction
Note:
This role is not front-facing ; the Associate will not lead appointments or attend daily client-facing meetings. Qualifications & Skills Must currently hold Series 65 Must be in good standing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), FINRA, and all applicable regulatory bodies, with no history of disciplinary action, regulatory sanctions, or derogatory findings on record is required 1-2 years of experience in financial services, wealth management, insurance, banking, or client servicing required Associate or bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field preferred Series 6, 7, 63, and/or SIE license, or willingness to obtain preferred Strong consideration for applicants with experience in financial services, custodial operations, or client-facing advisory support Deep passionfor financial planning and desire to assist others in long-term success Very High-level organizational, analytical, and multi-tasking abilities Strong attention to detail with a people-first mindset Contributes positivity, productivity, and the utmost professionalism to the workplace culture and environment Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to adapt to new technology and financial planning software Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Perks of Working with Innovative Wealth Building Competitive compensation package Generous paid time off Extensive and on-going training and support Decades of financial advising experience with in-house mentorship Leadership & growth opportunities within the company Team building activities and events Family oriented environment Benefits 401K with Safe Harbor and Matching opportunities Healthcare Options Generous paid time off to start Group Life Insurance Professional Development Opportunities Job Type Full Time Base Pay & Additional Compensation $60,000
