JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS
Job Summary:
Performs administrative and general office duties including but not limited to: answering the phones, patient scheduling, reception, filing, photocopying, faxing, retrieving messages, collection and distribution of office mail.
Education:
Position requires a high school education.
Registration/Certification/Licensure:
None Experience:
Position requires 1 -2 years of related office experience
Other Requirements:
Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements. Data entry/PC experience required Knowledge of insurance billing procedures Previous experience and demonstrated maturity in dealing with customers and promoting a positive service atmosphere required. Detail-oriented with the ability to follow directions and to work independently. Positive and outgoing presentation and communication skills a must.
