Job Description

About the Role We are seeking an experienced Financial Advisor Assistant / Associate to support a busy financial advisor in a fast-paced wealth management office in Farmington Hills. The ideal candidate has experience working in a financial advisor or wealth management office and understands retirement accounts, client service, and trade processing. Series 6 or Series 63 license is a huge plus. Key Responsibilities Client Account Management Assist with
IRA, 401
(k), and 529 account administration Process Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) Handle client service requests , including: ACAT transfers Rollovers Money movement IRA applications Update beneficiaries, transfers, and account maintenance Investment & Trade Processing Process mutual fund trades Handle trade processing Manage variable annuity applications and exchanges Assist with life insurance paperwork Administrative & Client Support Prepare paperwork and documentation for advisor review Maintain accurate CRM records and client documentation Manage client intake and onboarding Organize client files (digital and physical) Assist with DocuSign and account funding Schedule client appointments and annual reviews Prepare meeting materials and follow-up documentation
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience working in a financial advisor or wealth management office
Knowledge of:
IRAs 401(k)s 529 plans RMDs Experience with: ACAT transfers Rollovers Client account maintenance Strong organizational and multitasking skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Comfortable working directly with clients
