Job Description

Requirement:
Must have the CFP, CPA, CFA, or JD prior to applying for this position. Our Team Rochester Wealth Strategies is a hometown financial planning firm located in Downtown Rochester. Within our first eight years in business, we achieved four exceptional milestones: $200 million in assets, 140 amazing client relationships, and 6 incredible team members. We are increasingly recognized as Rochester's Retirement Planning Specialist for those over 50 with more than $1 million saved. Our primary goal is to provide a superior commitment to the select group of clients we work with; hence our 50:1 client to advisor ratio. We are also one of the only Fee-Only Fiduciary firms in the area, which means we do not offer commission products and we are dedicated to looking out for the best interest of our clients. It is our ambition to provide unmatched value to the select group of clients we work with. For this reason, we are looking to bring on a CFP, CPA, CFA, and/or JD. This person will work with clients and our advisors to offer advanced planning expertise. Responsibilities Portfolio management Build and maintain strong client relationships Analyze clients' financial needs and develop tailored financial plans Provide guidance on investments, estate planning, and tax Help the company sustain a growing business development / marketing plan Stay updated on financial regulations and market trends Utilize financial software and tools for accurate financial analysis and reporting Collaborate with other financial professionals to enhance service offerings
Education, Experience, and Skills:
Bachelor's Degree 3+ years of industry experience Ability to effectively manage competing priorities and multiple clients Strong sense of professional and personal accountability Experience with Microsoft Office applications Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly motivated and a self-starter Strong leadership qualities and work ethic
