- _What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health_
- Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets.
Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions.
- _Job Summary_
- The Advisor, Finance Planning & Analysis role reports to the Manager, FP&A on the Corporate Consolidations team with visibility and engagement with the CFO, Finance Directors, Enterprise FP&A VP, and their teams. This role will be responsible for financial reporting, financial consolidations, and ad hoc analysis to support the Corporate FP&A Managers and Directors.
- _Responsibilities_
- + Facilitate the consolidation of yearly budget and strategic financial planning processes; responsible for consolidated results for P&L and understanding key drivers and strategies of the Corporate functions + Generate monthly allocation of Corporate costs to Segments and consolidated variance analysis for P&L + Assist with consolidation of forecasts and advanced R&O outlooks + Drive process improvement through transformation workstreams and partnering with Segment finance teams + Partner with audit to establish SOX controls and create repeatable processes to meet on-going control requirements + Support additional ad-hoc and project work as needed + Works effectively across matrix organizations, including Corporate Function teams, Business Units, Enterprise FP&A, Accounting, and other various COEs + Ensures strong controls are in place and the company's intellectual property is protected + Serves as an objective financial steward with an enterprise perspective, safeguarding our company's assets + Develops calendars and timelines, standard templates, and communications to and hold all teams accountable •_Critical Competencies_•+ Strong analytical skills and decision-making capabilities + Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills + Change agent with ability to effectively manage and drive impactful change across teams + Ability to operate in a team-oriented environment and influence cross-functional stakeholders.
+ Strong process mindset and proven success in leading business initiatives to deliver large scale process improvements
+ Strong technical and financial knowledge, including understanding of internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as understanding of relevant business environment
+ Strong ownership mentality; maintains focus on driving projects to completion and delivering output/results
+ Ability to effectively prioritize and manage tasks concurrently; owns career and is accountable for managing own development
+ Strong financial and business acumen; familiar with financial systems and various aspects of financial reporting
+ Ability to prioritize and multi-task across multiple on-going projects
+ Ability to distill insights from complex analyses and create concise and compelling presentations to senior leadership audience
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- _Qualifications_
- + 3+ years experience in a finance function with at least 2 years in FP&A roles in a large complex organization, preferred + BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field, preferred. Advance Degree, preferred.

- $80,900 - $115,500
