Position Description We currently have an opportunity for an Advisor in our Commercial Risk department. This position provides insurance and risk management solutions to clients and prospects to proactively meet and exceed client needs. The role involves sales through an established marketing process requiring development and maintenance of strong relationships with clients, prospects and carriers. Additional duties of the Advisor include serving as a goodwill ambassador in the community, identifying latest trends in the insurance marketplace, and assessing appropriate plans best suited for the specific needs of prospects and clients. The position identifies viable prospects, develops strategic sales and action plan, and utilizes cold-calling techniques to increase sales consistent with agency mission and vision. The Advisor advises clients and prospects on products and services, provides excellence in customer service, and conducts sales presentations and education meetings. In addition, the position assesses the client risk situation, communicates renewal calculations and utilization information, and makes policy placement decisions based on the needs of the client, agency and carriers represented.
