Overview ​

PURPOSE STATEMENT

​Responsible for maintaining patient spending accounts, completing admission and discharge set ups, maintaining files for audits and Medicaid/Social Security packets. Responsibilities ​

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

​Provide strong customer service. ​Receive and enter all deposits to patient spending accounts. ​Record all purchase transactions for patient spending accounts. ​Maintain patient files. ​Reconcile Patient Trust and Bank Accounts ​Generate Admit documents and process Admits in Medhost. ​Process discharges in Medhost. ​Work with Medicaid and Social Security on applications and renewal packets. ​Work With Patient Trust Auditors ​Census report generation and compilation. ​

OTHER FUNCTIONS

​Perform other functions and tasks as assigned. Qualifications ​

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS

​High school diploma or equivalent Required. ​Knowledge of medical billing/collections experience Required. Excel Spreadsheet Usage and Creation Required Math and Bookkeeping and basic accounting knowledge required. Banking or Cash handling experience Required. ​
