Job Description

Katten, a global Am Law 100 law firm, seeks a highly qualified Counsel to join its premier Real Estate Investment and Finance practice in the Charlotte office. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm. This role requires that candidates be well versed in in the finance side of real estate transactions, including originating commercial mortgage loans and drafting and negotiating loan documents. Experience with servicing and workouts is a plus. All candidates must have solid academic credentials, strong writing skills, good interpersonal skills and a client-team focused approach. Qualified applicants should include a resume and a law school transcript with their application. Candidates should be admitted to the North Carolina bar or immediately eligible to waive in to the North Carolina bar. The estimated salary range for this role is $300,000 - $400,000. Salary determinations are made based on numerous factors, such as, but not limited to experience/job history, class/graduation year, and practice area of the selected candidate.
