Structured path from Associate Advisor-in-Training to full Advisor-with clear milestones and comp tied to your progress Work directly alongside experienced advisors and firm leadership in a collaborative, high-energy environment Serve meaningful client relationships-this is a relationship-driven role, not a transactional one Join a culture that closes the office at noon on Fridays and actually means it Get in at a high-growth moment with a firm that is locally owned, independent, and built for the long haul What You'll Do Serve as a lead advisor for existing client relationships, delivering exceptional service at every touchpoint Conduct client progress reviews via in-person meetings, Zoom, and phone calls Assist clients with retirement income planning and holistic financial strategies Build trust and long-term relationships with both current and prospective clients Participate in educational workshops, events, and lead generation opportunities Connect with prospective clients through digital lead channels and referrals Complete all meeting preparation and follow-up to ensure a seamless client experience Maintain accurate, timely documentation within CRM systems Collaborate across operations, client experience, and leadership teams Participate in weekly pipeline and strategy meetings What You Bring Experience in financial services, advising, sales, or relationship management Active Ohio Life & Health Insurance License required; Series 65 or 66 required Strong relationship-building and communication skills-you can simplify complex concepts for clients High emotional intelligence, professionalism, and a genuine passion for client service Entrepreneurial mindset with strong personal accountability and detail orientation Coachable, growth-minded, and quick on the uptake Comfortable balancing structure with flexibility in a fast-paced environment Bachelor's degree preferred Compensation This role offers a transparent, milestone-based compensation structure designed to reward your growth: Base Salary Starting base: $40,000/year, paid on the 15th and 30th of each month Upon obtaining your Ohio Life & Health, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses: base increases to $50,000/year Upon earning your CFP designation: base increases to $55,000/year Bonus Incentive Program (BIP)
- While in Associate Advisor-in-Training Role Participation in the team BIP based on new assets gathered each quarter Divided among all non-advisor full-time team members; calculated after each quarter-end Historically averages $5,000
- 8,000 annually Formula is open source and available for teammates to review Advisor Bonus Compensation (ABC)
- Upon Transition to Associate Advisor Role $3,000 per $1 million in new assets placed (assets the firm earns revenue from)
Example:
