Salary:
$55,000-$65,000 Annually +
Potential Additional Commissions Schedule:
Full-Time, Client-Facing, Occasional Hybrid Flexibility Travel:
Local travel required throughout the South Bay and surrounding communities Build a Career in Retirement Planning Are you a motivated professional who enjoys meeting people, building relationships, and helping others make important financial decisions? Peak Solutions Financial is growing, and we're looking for an enthusiastic, career-minded Associate Retirement Advisor to join our team. This is a full-time, salaried position with professional training, mentorship, company-provided appointments, and opportunities for additional commission-based compensation. Unlike traditional financial services opportunities that require extensive cold calling or building a client base from scratch, we provide an established appointment-generation system so you can focus on meeting clients and developing meaningful relationships. We provide the appointments. You build the relationships. About Peak Solutions Financial Founded in 2013, Peak Solutions Financial & Insurance Services specializes in helping educators, public employees, and individuals approaching retirement navigate important financial decisions. Our services focus on retirement income planning, pension benefits, retirement savings, and strategies designed to help clients approach retirement with greater clarity and confidence. As we continue expanding throughout the Bay Area, we're looking for someone interested in building a long-term career with our growing company. What You'll Do As an Associate Retirement Advisor, you'll work directly with prospective clients through a combination of virtual appointments, in-person consultations, and educational events.
Your responsibilities will include:
Attend and participate in weekly in-person educational events , including retirement workshops, school presentations, and community seminars. Conduct scheduled Zoom consultations with prospective clients to discuss retirement goals, financial priorities, and planning needs. Meet clients in person throughout the South Bay and surrounding communities. Build professional relationships with educators, school employees, public-sector professionals, and prospective retirees. Gather financial information and assist with retirement income assessments and planning presentations. Learn to explain pension benefits, retirement accounts, income strategies, and available financial solutions. Coordinate follow-up meetings and maintain organized client records. Work alongside experienced leadership to develop retirement planning knowledge and client consultation skills. Progressively assume greater responsibility for client relationships and financial product recommendations as licensing, training, and experience permit. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who is personable, dependable, ambitious, and genuinely enjoys working with people.
Qualifications:
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills. Previous experience in sales, banking, insurance, financial services, or another relationship-focused profession preferred. Confidence conducting both virtual and face-to-face client meetings. Comfortable speaking with individuals and presenting information to groups. Strong organizational skills and professional follow-through. Self-motivated, dependable, and eager to develop new skills. Interested in building a long-term career in financial services. Valid driver's license required. Access to a reliable personal vehicle required for travel to client appointments and weekly events. Ability and willingness to travel locally throughout the South Bay and surrounding Bay Area communities. An active California life insurance license is preferred but not required. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to obtain the appropriate insurance license as part of their professional development and employment requirements. Willingness to complete required licensing, training, and professional development. What We Offer Competitive Base Salary $55,000-$65,000 annually , depending on experience and qualifications. This is a full-time, salaried employee position, not a commission-only opportunity. Potential Additional Commissions The right candidate may have opportunities to earn additional commissions based on performance, appropriate licensing, and increasing responsibilities. Training Provided We provide structured, hands-on training covering retirement planning concepts, pension systems, financial products, client consultations, and our established advisory approach. Previous retirement planning experience is helpful but not necessary. Company-Provided Appointments Our established marketing systems generate prospective client appointments, allowing you to focus on building relationships, conducting consultations, and developing professionally. Direct Mentorship Work directly with the company's founder and benefit from more than a decade of experience serving retirement planning clients. Career Advancement Develop the skills, experience, and qualifications necessary to progress from Associate Retirement Advisor toward an independently producing advisor role. Occasional Hybrid Flexibility This is primarily a client-facing position involving scheduled appointments, weekly in-person events, and local travel. Some virtual consultations and administrative responsibilities may be completed remotely based on business needs and scheduling. Who Would Thrive Here? The ideal candidate enjoys meeting new people, communicates confidently, and is excited about professional growth. You may currently work in banking, insurance, sales, customer relationship management, or another client-facing profession and want to transition into a rewarding career in financial services. You don't need to be an experienced retirement advisor to succeed here. We're looking for someone with strong character, a professional attitude, a willingness to learn, and the motivation to build something meaningful. Ready to Take the Next Step? Join a growing financial services company where you'll receive the training, support, and opportunities to build a lasting career. Apply today to become an Associate Retirement Advisor with Peak Solutions Financial. Employment and client-facing activities are subject to applicable licensing, registration, training, and supervision requirements.
