The Associate Wealth Manager plays a key role in supporting the delivery of comprehensive, integrated wealth management services to high-net-worth individuals and business owners. This position blends financial planning, client relationship management, and operational coordination to ensure each client's financial strategy is executed with precision and care. The role requires a detail-oriented and proactive professional who can work independently, take ownership of responsibilities, and collaborate across internal teams and external advisors while maintaining a high standard of service and communication Qualifications 5+ Years of Industry experience Series 65 CFP Preferred
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Support managing advisor - ensure client meetings are fully prepped, act as second chair during client meetings, extract meeting notes from AI notetaker, input into CRM, update associated activities and opportunities, and perform CRM client data cleanup, prepare and send recap emails post client meetings, collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure alignment across workflows, ensure assigned post meeting action items are completed in a timely manner, support special projects assigned from managing advisor. Manage Investments and Trading Portfolios - oversee investment portfolio management and trading operations by collaborating with back-office CFA resources and institutional partners to maintain and update portfolio models in Eclipse and Orion. Execute trades, including periodic monthly distributions, client contributions, and annual RMDs, while ensuring accuracy and alignment with client objectives. Communicate investment decisions and trade rationale to clients in a clear and professional manner. Manage eMoney Advisor software - edit and maintain financial plans within eMoney Advisor, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client objectives, Lead 1:1 eMoney sessions with clients to fix connections and update database, work with back office planning team to create and build out profiles and ensure the client data they inputted is accurate, be the lead expert on software by keeping up to date with new features and understanding every function the software offers, update and maintain client profiles. Manage and service clients - lead client meetings as needed, ensuring clear communication and alignment on planning strategies. Manage and fulfill a wide range of client requests in a timely and professional manner while maintaining a high standard of service and consistent communication across all interactions. Proactively identify, address, and resolve complex client issues with minimal oversight, and serve as a primary point of contact to ensure a seamless and positive client experience. Manage 401k portfolio - coordinate new 401k plans by working with client, TPA and Recordkeeper, lead on-site 401k open enrollment meetings, facilitate 401(k) service model, and benchmark existing plans within the industry to ensure the lowest fees and best services for the firm's clients. Maintain CRM and firm software - maintain CRM and firm software, including Wealthbox CRM, by updating client profiles to ensure data integrity, recording detailed progress notes within activities and opportunities, documenting all client communications, saving client resources in Dropbox, and ensuring client portfolio models are accurate in Orion. Attend weekly industry meetings - ensure Welborn Financial is aware of any new regulations or changes made to current regulations, be up to date on the latest market news, be properly educated on the firm's current portfolio models.
