Position Overview We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Advisor to support one of our Financial Advisor teams and deliver an exceptional client experience. This role is ideal for someone with prior experience in the financial services industry who is looking to grow into a full advisor role over time, including developing their own book of business. Initially, this position will focus on prospecting, client service, financial planning support, and administrative execution. With demonstrated performance and initiative, there is a clear path for growth into a Junior Advisor and eventually a Lead Advisor role. Key Responsibilities Client & Advisor Support Attend client meetings with advisors, take detailed notes, and track follow-up action items Prepare post-meeting summaries and client communications outlining next steps Serve as a point of contact for client service requests and inquiries Meeting & Planning Preparation Prepare meeting agendas, financial reports, and planning materials Organize and maintain client files, paperwork, and documentation Assist with onboarding new clients and managing ongoing account updates Financial Planning & Investment Support Assist advisors with financial planning projects, including research, data gathering, and client analysis Support portfolio reviews, risk assessments, and investment-related tasks Shadow advisors during trading and portfolio management activities Growth & Development Prospecting, new client acquisition, learn how to prospect and acquire new clients Learn advisory workflows, compliance requirements, and client relationship management Progress toward taking on advisory responsibilities based on experience and licensing Other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Preferred Experience Required:
Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, client-focused environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Preferred:
Prior experience in the financial services industry and or insurance industry Experience handling client paperwork, account forms, and operational processes Series 7 and/or Series 65 licenses (or willingness to obtain) Life and Health license Familiarity with eMoney, SalesForce, Addepar software is ideal Strong interest in financial planning, investments, and long-term career growth as an advisor
