Job Description

Position Summary Independent Trust Company is seeking a detail-oriented Trust Analyst to support the compliance, risk management, and technical administration of trust accounts. This role focuses on trust document review, fiduciary analysis, investment oversight, committee support, and ensuring accounts are administered in accordance with governing documents, company policies, and applicable law. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and comfortable working with complex trust structures, fiduciary processes, and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities Review trust accounts for compliance with trust documents, company policies, and applicable law. Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready account records. Identify and resolve documentation, compliance, and administrative exceptions. Prepare recommendations and supporting analysis for Trust Committee review. Review discretionary distribution requests and provide fiduciary recommendations. Monitor investment activity and asset performance against investment objectives and trust requirements. Review unique asset valuations and related documentation. Assist with trust account onboarding, funding, and ongoing administration. Participate in fiduciary reviews and follow-up on committee action items. Respond promptly to assigned tasks, tickets, and workflow requests. Qualifications JD with at least 5 years of practice in trusts and estates Experience in trust administration, fiduciary services, wealth management, banking, compliance, or a related field preferred. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to interpret trust documents and legal records. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Legal Studies, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
CTFA, CFP
®, CPA, or similar professional designation is a plus. Final salary determination dependent on experience. Pay:
$120,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
