Job Description
Job Description A healthcare provider is in search of Patient Financial Counselors. The ideal candidate would educate patients on what services are covered by insurance, copays, deductible, and out of pocket costs by working with the Pre-Service Coordinators to gather patient information prior to appointments. This candidate would be able to compassionately communicate financial obligations to patients. This representative would work with patients to create payment schedules and provide resources for financial assistance for out-of-pocket costs. They would work with social workers, doctors, APPs, for patient care coverage. Responsible for reviewing patient account balance, refund requests and adjustments, and ensuring information is properly and accurately documented.
