This role offers the opportunity to shape the next generation of financial professionals through engaging undergraduate instruction—and, depending on qualifications, graduate teaching in the Master of Finance program—across in-person, hybrid, and online formats. The position emphasizes meaningful student mentorship, hands-on learning, and career preparation, while also providing the chance to influence curriculum aligned with CFP Board standards and current industry practices. In addition to teaching, this role plays an active part in program development, student advising, and building strong connections with industry partners to expand internship and career pathways. Ideal for a practitioner-educator, this position combines academic impact with professional engagement in a collaborative and growth-oriented environment. Instructs and supervises individuals and groups in classrooms settings through demonstrations, discussions, visual aids, lectures, field trip, on-line instruction, and other instructional methods. Creates and encourages an engaged student-oriented approach to learning and education. Maintains office hours in support of the learning process. Evaluates and records the learning process by means of written, oral, practical, and performance testing. Records and maintains student accountability and performance. Prepares and submits various reports to document the student learning process. Supervises and observes students engaged in extracurricular activities as assigned. Assists department leaders in planning and implementing effective academic programs and curriculums. Serves on various academic committees as a faculty member and other meetings as assigned. Graduation from an accredited institution with at least a masters degree appropriate to the discipline. Knowledge and skill in current instructional theories, strategies, techniques, and discipline content. At least ten years of progressively responsible discipline related work experience. Evidence of potential for practice/creative engagements with community and industry consistent with a teaching university. Preferred Qualifications A PhD, or other related terminal degree such as a Juris Doctorate (JD), in Financial Planning or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution is given preference.
