Job Description
Forney Financial is looking for an Administrative Assistant to join a small team of professionals, responsible for a variety of administrative and clerical tasks in a fast-paced financial planning office. Responsibilities in this role include operational administrative processing related to the financial service industry, providing professional, friendly support to clients, and assisting in daily office needs. The ideal candidate for this role is reliable, resourceful, a good problem solver, organized and has strong attention to detail.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Duties include but are not limited to: o Prepare and process new account paperwork for advisors o Prepare any additional follow-up forms for clients per advisor's request o Send documents via e-signature to clients o Create, edit, reset, and delete account view profiles for clients o Manage and handle advisor notifications o Follow through with all paperwork to ensure it is in good order o Manage in and outbound calls with professionalism o Mail agreements, brochures, and other client account paperwork to clients o Research and resolve account issues or miscellaneous questions for clients and advisors o Maintain files and prepare correspondence and documents for advisors and clientsCompetencies:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies: o Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner o Intuitive and resourceful to gather, analyze, and resolve complicated issues o Respond promptly and accurately to clients' questions and needs o Meet commitments and maintain confidentiality o Exhibit sound and accurate judgment o Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness o Monitor own work to ensure quality o Strong attention to detail o Strong time management skills o Contribute to building a positive team culture o Thrive in a fast-paced environment Education and/orExperience:
Associate degree or higher in Business, Finance, Economics, Administration, or equivalent related experience and/or training. Knowledge of investments, financial operations, insurance, trusts, and financial planning, Series 7, 63, 65 and/or 66 are a plus but not required.About Forney Financial:
