Job Description

Position Summary Do you have experience in the financial planning/investment field? Are you organized and able to work independently? Do you have exceptional attention to detail and an ability to complete error-free work? Are you computer-savvy? Do you enjoy assisting clients while providing exceptional service? If so, you may be the person we are looking for to work at our agency. We are looking for a Financial Service Associate to provide a variety of support to our financial advisors. Riesterer Financial offers comprehensive financial planning services to meet the various needs of clients. As a client orientated firm, we need an individual who shares our desire to help clients achieve their financial goals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Prepare and process applications and paperwork from start to finish and have some knowledge of compliance, reviewing for completeness before submission and track pending business paperwork Make and process trades for clients Anticipate advisor needs and handle them proactively Maintain financial advisor and client files Assist advisors in client meeting preparation Industry research and client analysis of assets Contact clients to maintain and enhance relationships or obtain updated information Update and use CRM system efficiently to handle tasks, scheduling, follow up, new client entry Answer phone calls, handle customer service, client needs, schedule meetings Provide coverage in the financial department when needed Additional responsibilities when needed Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Series 6 or 7 Securities and WI Life & Health Insurance license desired or obtained within six months upon hire High school diploma/GED required college degree a plus 1 or more years customer services experience Experience with business technology (e.g. Microsoft Office, Adobe and CRM system) Experience with one or more financial products (Mutual Funds, Brokerage, Annuity, Life) supporting systems Ability to maintain integrity of sensitive/confidential information High level of efficiency with strong attention to detail Strong verbal skills with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, compelling fashion Self-motivated, independent, and dependable Driven to succeed and is motivated to help others Able to use good judgement to provide solid financial guidance Exceptional problem-solving skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment Additional Information A background check and fingerprinting is required and will be conducted upon hire Full-time, non-exempt position (hourly/entitled to overtime pay), 40 hours per week, 8am - 5pm Monday through Thursday, 8am - 3:30pm Friday. Hours may vary based on occasional variation in workload.
