Position Summary Custer Burish Financial Services is a comprehensive financial planning firm specializing in retirement, investment, estate, insurance, and tax planning, and we are seeking a Financial Planner Assistant. This position continually works with planners, clients, financial institutions, vendors and prospective clients. With keen insight and the utmost discretion, the ideal candidate is confident interfacing with clients, has impeccable attention to detail and always strives to enhance the clients' experience. Key responsibilities
  • Responding to a broad spectrum of client inquiries, requests and other client service needs, Function as the lead person in applicant processing and internal record keeping.
  • Initiate and prepare communication with clients.
  • Support new business development, technology enhancements and enhanced client experiences.
  • Provide clerical, administrative and backup support.
  • Schedule appointments, client meetings, special events and other activities.
  • Prepare for client meetings utilizing several systems including databases (primarily OnBase), spreadsheets, research tools, Morningstar, eMoney, Redtail (CRM) and other office equipment.
  • The key responsibilities are not intended to be all-inclusive and other duties will be assigned as needed.
Position Requirements Minimum of Associate Degree in Business or equivalent trade-off in related professional work experience. Additional training in customer service and financial planning desired. Licensure to include Series 6/7, Series 63/65, life and health insurances. If not currently licensed there is an expectation for application/testing for such licenses will be made within the first year of employment. Minimum of 2 years of administrative support, customer service and general office work required. Experience in financial services industry preferred. Excellent team skills, positive attitude, high ethical standards and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong oral and written communication and organizational skills and attention to detail. Proven ability to prioritize effectively, manage a variety of tasks and flexibility with shifting priorities. Strong customer service skills with commitment to quality, accuracy and timely completion of work. Ability to maintain composure under stressful situations and deadlines. Strong relationship building skills both internally and externally. High degree of professionalism, tact and sensitivity. Strong computer skills with particular strength in navigating different systems and organizing data. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook and CRM (Client Relationship Management) software. Physical Job Analysis While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, write and operate a computer keyboard, standard office equipment and telephone. The employee is frequently required to move about and reach for items. The employee must be able to perform light physical work, frequently lifting up to 10 pounds without assistance in an indoor setting and occasionally lifting up to 30 pounds.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
