Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Senior Pricing Analyst to support a Government Sourcing organization within a leading aerospace environment. This role is responsible for evaluating and establishing fair and reasonable pricing for commercial products and services in support of FAR Part 15 contracts . The ideal candidate will leverage market research, pricing analysis methodologies, and cross-functional collaboration to ensure regulatory compliance while supporting competitive and strategic pricing decisions. This position requires strong business acumen, critical thinking, and the ability to communicate pricing recommendations to key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct market research and price analysis to evaluate supplier pricing for commercial products and services. Analyze comparable commercial offerings to establish fair and reasonable pricing benchmarks. Apply knowledge of
FAR/DFARS
regulations to ensure compliance in all pricing activities. Support pricing strategies for FAR Part 15 proposals , ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness. Utilize analytical tools and financial principles to develop well-documented pricing analyses and recommendations.
Collaborate cross-functionally with:
Sales and Business Teams Proposal Operations Product Line Leadership Engineering Teams Procurement Subcontract Specialists Present pricing insights, recommendations, and findings to stakeholders to support business decisions. Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to address complex pricing challenges. Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years of experience in pricing, price analysis, FP&A, finance, accounting, or related disciplines. Experience working within FAR and DFARS regulatory environments . Strong analytical, financial modeling, and problem-solving capabilities. Ability to develop strategic and innovative pricing solutions. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within the Aerospace, Defense, or Government Contracting industries. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analysis tools. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Experience presenting pricing analyses and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
