Job Description

Job Summary BlueGrace Logistics is one of the leading Managed Logistics/Transportation providers in North America, and we're growing. As we expand our Carrier Sales leadership in Tampa, we're looking for an experienced Manager, Carrier Sales to lead and develop a team of Carrier Sales Representatives, with real ownership over the carrier relationships and team performance that drive that growth.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead your team Manage, coach, and develop a team of Carrier Sales Representatives, from ramping new hires to building senior reps into future leaders Own hiring, onboarding, and performance management for your team, including regular one-on-ones and monthly performance reviews Set the tone for the team: urgency, accountability, and ownership over the freight in your region Drive carrier network strategy Build and strengthen carrier relationships to improve pricing consistency, service reliability, and coverage speed Direct carrier development priorities, including high-volume lanes, problem lanes, niche markets, and new carrier onboarding Monitor market and capacity trends and adjust regional strategy as conditions shift Partner across the business Work with customer sales to prioritize the load board and align on pricing strategy for current and prospective accounts Consult on spot market opportunities and support the development of regional pricing Use available technology and data to spot coverage risk earlier and keep your team focused on the relationships that move freight Facilitate team meetings where appropriate Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications:
4-5+ years of experience selling freight as a carrier sales rep, with prior people-management experience preferred Extensive carrier portfolio development and management experience Strong understanding of pricing strategy and the bid package process Strong fundamental approach to load board management
