Responsibilities The Senior Contract Pricing & Performance Analyst is responsible for evaluating new and renewal contracts to ensure pricing, service levels, and performance expectations align with organizational standards and financial objectives. This role serves as a key partner to FP&A, Supply Chain, and operational leaders to validate allowable price changes, ensure scope modifications are justified, and confirm measurable KPIs are embedded in all agreements. The analyst will also support enterprise vendor alignment by promoting the use of preferred vendors, reinforcing contract consistency, and identifying opportunities to optimize spend across the health system.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Contract Review & Pricing Governance Evaluate contract renewals and new agreements to ensure pricing changes align with allowable thresholds and organizational policies. Conduct financial impact analyses on proposed pricing adjustments, scope changes, service modifications, and contract terms. Partner with Supply Chain and FP&A to ensure consistency in contract structures, pricing methodologies, and negotiated terms. Scope & KPI Validation Review and evaluate contract scope for operational, financial, and strategic justification. Ensure all contracts include clearly defined, measurable KPIs and performance standards. Support operational leaders in interpreting KPI commitments and establishing monitoring mechanisms. Vendor Alignment & Compliance Promote use of preferred vendors and assist with evaluating vendor selection to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy. Identify inconsistencies or duplicative vendor relationships across the organization and recommend opportunities to consolidate or standardize services. Collaborate with Supply Chain and operational leaders to ensure compliance with documented vendor and service selection processes. Performance Monitoring & Reporting Develop financial summaries, risk assessments, and standardized review templates for contract evaluations. Present findings and recommendations to FP&A leadership, Supply Chain, and executive stakeholders. Support the development and refinement of organizational policies related to contract review, pricing governance, and vendor performance management. Qualifications
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIRED
Education Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field required. Experience 3 years of experience in finance, FP&A, supply chain governance, contract analytics, or related roles. Skills & Competencies Strong financial analysis and quantitative modeling skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with financial, operational, legal, and supply chain teams. High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and a commitment to accuracy and accountability. Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling tools, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Spotfire) preferred.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES/LICENSE OR CERTIFICATION PREFERRED 4
years' experience in a multi-site healthcare system or other complex, matrixed organization preferred. Master's in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or similar role. Working knowledge of contract governance practices, vendor management, and supply chain processes. Ability to interpret contract language, pricing structures, and commercial terms.
