Job Description
Carl Buddig & Company, a family-oriented leader in deli meats and snack products since 1943, is seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst to join our Finance, Accounting & Administration team. In this manufacturing-focused role, you will own pricing analytics for key product lines, translating cost, margin, and market data into strategic price recommendations. Partnering with Finance, Sales, and Operations, you will model scenarios, support bids and promotions, and ensure pricing aligns with profitability and growth targets. This position helps drive innovation, process improvements, and data-driven decisions across the Buddig portfolio. Responsibilities Lead pricing analysis and strategy for core manufacturing product lines Develop and maintain pricing models incorporating cost, margin, and market factors Support bids, promotions, and customer proposals with data-driven recommendations Monitor price performance, profitability, and volume, recommending adjustments Collaborate with Finance, Sales, and Operations to align pricing with business goals Conduct competitive, market, and customer profitability analysis Prepare executive-ready reports and presentations on pricing performance Contribute to annual planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes Identify and implement process and tool improvements in pricing analytics Required Skills Pricing strategy development Cost analysis Financial modeling Advanced Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) Data analytics and reporting (e.g., Power BI/Tableau) ERP systems experience (SAP/Oracle or similar) Manufacturing margin and cost accounting knowledge Competitive and market analysis Forecasting and budgeting Stakeholder communication and presentation
