Job Description
Job Description Job Summary This role will offer a unique opportunity to work with both pricing proposals for new projects and contracts as well as leading the reporting and analysis of material costing. Essential Job Functions
- Reporting on site costing metrics to support the site with improving focus on variance analysis and challenging overspends.
- Analyze material costing data to help provide understanding of cost breakdowns and offer recommendations for opportunities to reduce costs.
- Contribute to the rate development process and updates
- Lead the annual standard costing processes
- Work collaboratively with the business to develop pricing for OE and aftermarket proposals.
- Follow accounting policies and procedures and control processes to ensure work is completed to defined standard.
- Frequent interaction with various functions and multiple levels of the organization will be needed, so the successful candidate must possess strong presentation, communication, and professional skills.
- Analyze and understand data quickly to make informed business decisions.
- Other duties may be assigned. Job Requirements Education/Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, accounting, or related roles.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship
- Experience in Aerospace a plus Skills &Competencies
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) preferred
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving mindset
