Job Description
The Pricing Manager is responsible for supporting the development and execution of the company's pricing strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and market conditions to optimize revenue and profitability. Responsibilities Pricing Strategy Development & Execution Support the development and execution of pricing strategies, including building and refining pricing models, maintaining pricing structures, and identifying opportunities for price optimization. Monitor industry trends, track competitor pricing, and conduct market research to support informed pricing recommendations. Ensure pricing activities comply with company policies and applicable legal and regulatory requirements. Pricing Model Optimization & Management Develop, implement, and maintain pricing tools, databases, and processes to support pricing strategies in a competitive environment. Manage day-to-day pricing operations, including pricing updates, audits, and accuracy validation. Partner with internal teams on the implementation and enhancement of pricing technology, optimization formulas, and analytical methodologies. Analysis and Reporting Prepare pricing analysis, insights, and recommendations for the Pricing Director and senior leadership to support key business decisions. Evaluate the financial impact of pricing scenarios, monitor performance metrics, and recommend data-driven adjustments as needed. Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product, finance, and operations teams to ensure pricing execution aligns with overall business goals. Support sales teams with pricing guidance, deal analysis, and contract negotiations, including price exceptions when required. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field; MBA preferred. 8+ years of experience in strategic pricing, revenue management, or a related analytical role. Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience with pricing analysis, financial modeling, and market research. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Proficiency using Microsoft tools, including Excel VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables. Skilled in the use of analytics tools such Tableau. Strong understanding of e-commerce pricing dynamics (if applicable). Solid understanding of customer contract pricing and price exception management.
