Triple Cities Metal Finishing is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team in a Process & Pricing Analyst role . This position will initially focus on reviewing job pricing and supporting the accuracy of customer and internal pricing. As the individual develops knowledge of our processes and business, the role will grow to include pricing analysis, customer quoting, process development, and ongoing pricing adjustments. This position will work closely with Operations, Quality, Engineering, Production, and Customer Service and will require the ability to understand manufacturing processes, interpret blueprints and technical information, and work with detailed information in our business systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
Review existing job pricing to ensure pricing is accurate and consistent with current requirements Research and review historical pricing, production information, and job data Assist with pricing analysis and identifying opportunities for pricing adjustments Develop a strong understanding of our manufacturing processes, capabilities, and cost structure Progressively take ownership of preparing pricing and quotes for customers Provide pricing information to customers and internal teams as needed Review customer drawings, specifications, and blueprints to understand job requirements Identify changes in part requirements, quantities, processes, or other factors that may impact pricing Work with Quality and Engineering to develop and maintain manufacturing processes within the company's ERP/business system Assist with creating and maintaining process routings, operations, and other production information in the system Review existing processes and make updates as requirements change Work closely with Engineering, Quality, Production, Operations, and Customer Service to ensure job information is accurate and complete Assist with identifying opportunities to improve processes, accuracy, efficiency, and profitability Maintain accurate pricing, process, and customer information Prepare reports and analysis as requested by management Communicate pricing, process, and job-related information clearly to internal teams and customers Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a manufacturing environment required Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings required Strong mathematical and analytical skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities Strong computer skills, particularly Microsoft Excel Ability to learn and navigate ERP/business management systems Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively with Engineering, Quality, Production, Operations, and Customer Service teams Strong problem-solving skills and ability to research and analyze information Ability and willingness to learn manufacturing processes and develop a strong understanding of the business
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with manufacturing quoting, estimating, pricing, or cost analysis Experience working with ERP systems and/or production routing Experience in metal stamping, metal finishing, fabrication, machining, or a similar manufacturing environment Experience working with BOMs, routings, or production processes Technical degree, manufacturing/engineering coursework, or equivalent experience
Growth Opportunity:
This position is intended to grow with the individual. The initial focus will be on reviewing and maintaining pricing and learning the company's products, processes, and systems. Over time, the individual will take on increased responsibility for pricing analysis, customer quoting, pricing adjustments, and development and maintenance of manufacturing processes within the system.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
$20.00-$30.00/hour, based on experience.
