Job Description
Job Summary:
Position is responsible for conducting research and developing recommendations on pricing analysis that will be utilized by the company to set competitive and profitable pricing for the marketplace. Essential Functions- Present pricing analysis, including market comparison and suggest recommendations to appropriate management staff.
- Provide regular and specialized pricing analysis and reporting for management using Microsoft Excel and Access.
- Take initiative in identifying and resolving issues pertaining to pricing and margin analysis.
- Collaborate with team members to prepare for strategy meetings.
- Accurately complete all tasks within given time constraints.
Education:
- Two or four year college degree, or equivalent work experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and analysis skills
- Excellent math skills and strong attention to detail . Intermediate to advanced experience with Microsoft Excel and Word . Microsoft Access Database Knowledge helpful, not required.
- Ability to independently develop new Excel models, charts and graphs, and procedures as necessary.
- Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of automotive aftermarket industry is a plus.
Work Environment:
- General office environment . Position requires in-person (Rochester NY) Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm (not a remote position)
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and handle other computer components
