About Us Hines Nut Company is a long-standing name in the nut and snack food industry, known for quality sourcing, processing, and distribution. We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Pricing Analyst to join our team and help drive smart, data-informed pricing decisions across our product lines. About the Role As a Junior Pricing Analyst, you'll support the pricing team in analyzing commodity costs, market trends, and customer contracts to help set and maintain competitive, profitable pricing. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their analytics or finance career who wants hands-on exposure to pricing strategy in the food/agriculture space. Responsibilities Collect, clean, and analyze pricing, cost, and sales data from internal systems and market sources Track commodity price trends (tree nuts, packaging, freight) and flag cost changes that may affect margins Assist in building and maintaining pricing models and spreadsheets used by the sales and finance teams Prepare regular pricing reports and dashboards for management review Support price list updates, customer-specific pricing, and contract pricing reviews Partner with sales, procurement, and finance teams to gather input on pricing decisions Identify pricing discrepancies or anomalies and help investigate root causes Assist with ad hoc analysis and special projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting, Statistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience) 1-5 years of experience in pricing, financial analysis, or a related analytical role (internships count) Strong Excel skills (pivot tables; comfort with large datasets Solid analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to work cross-functionally with sales, procurement, and finance teams Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with commodity markets or the food/CPG/agriculture industry Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, NetSuite, Microsoft Dynamics) Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) Paid time off and holidays Employee product discounts How to Apply Interested candidates should apply directly through this posting with a resume.
