Description The Pricing and Analytics Manager oversees the Pricing and Analytics team. This individual coordinates and collaborates with various functional disciplines and communicates with all levels of management.
Supervisor Responsibilities:
Create and maintain a skilled workforce through timely coaching and feedback, cross training, and employee development. Identify training and personal development action plans
Resolve personnel issues in a timely, effective manner and in accordance with Sechan's values. Serve as a role model for values implementation and reinforcement
Regularly review and communicate department performance in attaining goals and metrics
Position Responsibilities:
Provides oversight for the Pricing team; manages the pricing and financial analysts
Develops, analyzes, evaluates, coordinates, prepares, supports and oversees specific cost proposals to government and prime customers while meeting critical submission deadlines
Develops realistic cost proposal schedules for departmental inputs that meets all proposal requirements and deadlines
Generates detailed pricing using the cost estimates, pricing model, proposal structure, and pricing based on inputs and strategic guidance from the bid team. Ensures timely cost inputs from all participants
Develops and prepares cost volumes for proposals in accordance with the Request for Proposal (RFP) requirements
Serves as a primary interface with
DCAA/DCMA
during specific audits; supports customer evaluation/fact-finding and participates in price negotiations
Ensures Estimating System compliance and provides interpretation of RFP costing requirements
Interacts with personnel and management at all levels; interface and coordinate with other business management leaders and staff on a daily basis related to cost & pricing
Coordinates with other departments as necessary to obtain input data to support the preparation of proposals, correspondence and other requests
Coordinates with CFO and bid team to streamline and standardize repeatable bid cost estimating processes and procedures and their corresponding standardized data; "Speed to Market"
Maintain a full understanding of cost, cost drivers, and cost estimating processes and techniques, including lot sizing, fixed/variable costs, nonrecurring costs, and development and application of Cost Estimating Relationships (CERs)
Assigns and monitors bids. Monitoring bids requires review of progress and accountability for timely completion of bids
Oversee the financial analysis process and ensure data analysis is prepared accurately and timely
Oversee the budget and forecasting processes
Assist with the strategic planning process
Coordinate the month-end reporting process
Develop financial models that evaluate business performance and assess potential risks and opportunities
Develop and perform to performance measurements (KPIs)
Generate ideas for continuous improvement activities that will maximize operational efficiency
Performs other duties as assigned to drive to the vision, fulfill the mission, and abide by the values of this organization

Qualifications:
BS/BA in business, finance, or related field
7+ years of combined experience in Pricing/Accounting/Finance/Contracts/Business with at least 3 years of direct pricing experience
2 years of experience with Subcontract/ Procurement requirements, FAR proposal adequacy and execution requirements, Prime proposal SOW/RFP requirements.
