Job Description

Our client is seeking a Strategic Pricing and Product Manager to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will reside in the greater Nashville area or be willing to relocate and have experience creating customer segments based on demographics, buying behaviors, and retention trends. This is a vital role for their organization that will own the market-level strategy, segmentation, pricing and positioning of the organization.
Duties:
Lead customer segmentation strategy by developing data-driven frameworks that identify customer groups, behaviors, needs, and growth opportunities. Own pricing strategy and analysis, including pricing models, contract strategies, competitive positioning, and customer willingness-to-pay assessments. Conduct market research, customer insights analysis, competitive intelligence, and market sizing to drive business and go-to-market decisions. Develop differentiated product positioning, value propositions, and commercialization strategies that align with customer needs and market dynamics. Translate customer, market, and operational data into actionable recommendations that improve growth, retention, and profitability. Partner cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Product, Operations, and Marketing leaders to align pricing, positioning, and market strategies. Create sales enablement tools, competitive battlecards, and strategic messaging to support complex B2B and B2C sales cycles. Utilize advanced analytical skills and tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI, or similar) to build reporting, dashboards, and performance insights.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in pricing strategy, go-to-market strategy, and/ or product market strategy roles. Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, or a related field. Experience owning pricing strategy, competitive intelligence, and market-level GTM planning. Experience supporting complex, long-cycle B2B or B2C sales motions, ideally with multi-year contracts. Strong analytical skills with experience translating complex datasets into actionable insights.

Salary:
$130k-$160k depending on experience Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual's skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company's 401(k) retirement plan.
