Job Description

ACCOUNTABILITIES & ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Develop, grow, and leverage the influential supplier relationships, negotiate competitive pricing and availability, increase sales and gross profit dollars for all regions. Engage with Mouser's Supplier Partners, internal business development and supplier management resources in strategic quote opportunities to grow and maintain awarded business. Review customer quote opportunities and make price recommendations based on customer / product segmentation for customers, globally. Quantify revenue and margin impact of pricing strategies. Proactively work backend margin enhancement. Develop and execute effective pricing strategies for focus customers while maintaining corporate margin goal. Evaluate market and competitive data to optimally align pricing strategies within the market space. Create and maintain special cost quotes, ensure debits are reconciled and inventory is. replenished at the appropriate cost. Work with functional partners to find opportunities to grow business and optimize profitability. Participate in supplier business reviews.
SKILLS & CERTIFICATIONS
Skill evaluation: Behavioral (80%);Excel (80%) Ability to independently create pricing strategies for customer specific quote opportunities. Must possess professional demeanor and strong relationship-building skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with different levels of management both internally and externally. Proficient with math, profit margins, markups, and competitive pricing strategies Strong influencing and negotiating skills. Must be detailed and thorough in work habits with the ability to multi-task. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to interact with all levels of management, suppliers and other external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between functional organizations. Excellent follow-up and organizational skills with attention to detail Demonstrated negotiation skills (both internal, across the business and external with suppliers) and ability to lead formal negotiations.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelors degree in Business or related field with a minimum of two years related business experience in sales or purchasing; or an equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
