The Manager In-Store Pricing is a strategic leader responsible for developing and executing pricing initiatives that drive in-store sales, margin performance, and overall profitability. This role partners cross-functionally across the organization to shape and support enterprise pricing strategies, leveraging data, analytics, and market insights to optimize pricing decisions. As a subject matter expert, this leader guides key initiatives, develops team capability, and plays a critical role in evolving pricing tools, processes, and best practices while ensuring alignment with Maverik's financial goals and customer value promise.

Location/Schedule:
This role is based at our Salt Lake City Headquarters with a 4-day hybrid in-office schedule.
Position Summary & Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Develop and execute in-store pricing strategies to optimize sales, margin, and customer value across categories. Analyze category performance, pricing elasticity, and competitor trends to identify opportunities and recommend actionable pricing strategies. Partner cross-functionally with Category Management, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance to align pricing with promotions, vendor funding, and inventory strategies. Oversee reporting and analysis of in-store sales and margin performance, providing insights and recommendations to leadership. Develop pricing strategies for new store openings, remodels, and market expansions to ensure strong market entry and performance. Manage and enhance pricing tools, systems, and processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and accuracy. You'll be a great fit for this adventure if you have: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in pricing, category management, data analysis, financial analysis, or retail strategy. 1+ years in a leadership or supervisory role with experience developing and coaching team members. Strong analytical skills with experience leveraging data to drive business decisions and influence outcomes. Experience with pricing tools, forecasting, and data visualization platforms preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) with experience using data to tell a clear business story. Strong business acumen with the ability to balance customer value and profitability. Effective communicator with the ability to present insights and influence stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization. The Maverik Spirit - you're a clear communicator, team player, and problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment. Bonus points if you also bring: Experience with SQL, Python, or similar analytical tools. Experience supporting enterprise pricing strategies or large-scale retail environments. Background in building or improving pricing systems, tools, or processes.
Compensation & Benefits Pay Range:
$95,000-$115,000 + DOE and Bonus Opportunities The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Maverik considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers, such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills, and current market conditions.
