Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline 3+ years of experience in pricing, cost analysis, quoting, or industrial engineering within a technical environment Experience building detailed cost models and pricing sheets Ability to review and understand engineering drawings, BOMs, or technical inputs Experience supporting proposal pricing or large-scale quoting efforts Strong analytical and organizational skills
Day-to-Day:
This role partners with Proposal Engineering, Business Development, and Program teams to develop accurate, compliant, and competitive cost and pricing models for aerospace and defense proposals. It involves preparing detailed proposals across contract types such as CPFF, FFP, T&M, and IDIQ, building and analyzing pricing models (including BOEs, BOMs, labor, material, and subcontract inputs) using Excel and ProPricer, and reviewing technical documentation to ensure pricing accuracy. The position also supports audit-ready proposal submissions by assembling cost volumes and documentation, collaborating cross-functionally to gather inputs, and contributing to pricing reviews and strategies. Additional responsibilities include conducting should-cost analyses, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and CAS requirements, supporting negotiations and audits, and maintaining pricing templates, rate structures, and cost databases to drive efficient proposal execution.
