Overview Join our dynamic team as a Property Preservation Specialist and play a vital role in maintaining the integrity and value of residential properties. In this energetic position, you will be responsible for ensuring properties are secure, well-maintained, and compliant with industry standards. Your proactive approach will help protect assets, prevent deterioration, and support community stability. Responsibilities Conduct routine inspections of assigned properties to assess condition and identify needed repairs or maintenance. Perform essential preservation tasks such as securing doors and windows, boarding up openings, and removing debris to prevent vandalism or further damage. Maintain property safety by trimming overgrown vegetation, clearing walkways, and addressing hazards promptly. Document all work performed with detailed reports, photographs, and logs to ensure accurate records of property condition. Coordinate with contractors or vendors for specialized repairs or services when necessary. Follow established protocols for property upkeep to ensure compliance with company standards and local regulations. Respond swiftly to emergency situations such as vandalism, weather damage, or unauthorized access to mitigate risks effectively. Qualifications Previous experience in property maintenance, preservation, or related fields is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is highly valued. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, climbing ladders, and working outdoors in various weather conditions. Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for documentation and reporting. Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are often necessary for property visits across different locations. Knowledge of safety procedures and basic repair techniques is a plus but can be provided through training.
