POSITION GENERAL SUMMARY
: Performs field and office duties with minimum supervision in connection with the appraisal of commercial and industrial real property; is a Deputy Assessor; and performs related work as required. The position is located in the Ada County Assessor's Office.
DISTINGUISHING FEATURES OF THE CLASS
Work includes appraisal of small commercial real property through large, complex and difficult commercial and industrial property. The complexity of a typical commercial real property appraisal requires considerable in-depth research for market data on sales, incomes (rents), operating expenses, capitalization rates ( CAP ) (rate of return on investment).
