Job Description
We are partnering with a growing geospatial and surveying firm seeking a Realty Capture Technician to support utility, infrastructure, and transportation projects throughout New England. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a combination of fieldwork, technology, and problem-solving while contributing to the collection of critical property and right-of-way information. Primary Responsibilities:
Collect field data related to property ownership, easements, rights-of-way, and utility infrastructure. Conduct site visits and field investigations to verify property and asset information. Utilize GPS, GIS, mapping software, mobile applications, and related technology to document findings. Prepare field notes, reports, sketches, and supporting documentation for project teams. Coordinate with surveyors, engineers, utility companies, municipalities, and property owners as needed. Work closely with other groups as a cohesive team.
Qualifications:
Experience in surveying, utility mapping, real estate, land records, GIS, engineering support, or related field preferred. Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document field information. Comfortable working outdoors and traveling throughout the region. Familiarity with maps, deeds, plans, right-of-way documentation, or utility records is a plus. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required. Local travel throughout New England expected.
Pay Range:
