Job Description

If you have a desire to contribute to your local community in a meaningful way, the City of Bangor may have a great opportunity for you as an Appraisal Technician in our Assessing Department! The Appraisal Technician position is responsible for assisting with general assessing work. This position has as a primary function of maintenance of personal property assessments. This position has as a secondary function of conducting real property field inspections and reviews. DESIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Possesses certification with the State of Maine's Bureau of Taxation. Preference is given to Certified Maine Assessor (CMA) or Real Estate Appraiser License.
