Full-Time Appraiser Hamlin County Hayti, SD Posted/Updated:
Today Job Description Hamlin County is accepting applications for a full-time position in the Director of Equalization's Office. High School diploma or GED is required. Computer knowledge, math, excellent people skills, oral and written communication, detail-oriented, team player, and a positive attitude are essential. Working knowledge of appraisal software, Microsoft Office, & GIS is preferred. Duties will include on-site property inspections, accurately entering data, research and identifying correct legal descriptions and ownership of property, prepare and maintain current data on each parcel assessed, and general clerical duties. CAA Certification is preferred or must successfully complete Certified Appraiser Assessor courses and obtain state certification within one year. Benefits will include health insurance, SD Retirement, vacation, and sick leave. Application deadline 9/16/26.
