Job Description

Job description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Right of Way Agent to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will lead efforts to acquire, manage, and negotiate property rights necessary for infrastructure development projects. Your expertise will ensure smooth project execution by securing legal rights efficiently and ethically, while maintaining excellent relationships with property owners and stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence major development initiatives through strategic research, negotiation, and legal compliance. Duties Lead complex negotiations with property owners to acquire right of way interests, including easements, fee simple acquisitions, and permits. Conduct thorough research on property titles, ownership histories, and legal encumbrances utilizing GIS (Geographic Information Systems) tools and other resources. Prepare and review legal documents such as deeds, easements, title reports, and settlement agreements to ensure accuracy and compliance with real estate law. Coordinate with title companies, law offices, and government agencies to facilitate smooth title processing and resolve any issues that arise during acquisition. Manage project timelines by tracking progress on right of way acquisitions, ensuring all steps are completed efficiently and within schedule. Maintain detailed records of negotiations, property documentation, and correspondence to support transparency and accountability. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing property owner concerns professionally and transparently throughout the acquisition process. Mandatory qualifications Must have an active real estate license, and be a notary.
